At Charter High, students can attend afternoon or evening classes. The technology-connected curriculum and instruction provide students the opportunity to progress at their own pace to complete the credits required for graduation.
Students are tested using standardized materials to chart their progress, and graduate as soon as they have completed the required coursework. Students graduate from Charter High with a high school diploma, not an alternative diploma. Almost every week, a student graduates from Charter High. Most of them would not have achieved this milestone if they had remained at their home school.

Lafayette Charter High is home to the Computers for Louisiana Kids Program. The program focuses on state and national certification areas in information technology.
Students in the program learn to repair and recycle computers, and also take classes in computer maintenance and upgrade, troubleshooting, applications, investigating computers, computer programming, computer-aided publishing, web page design, ITCS employability skills, ITC9A+ certification test preparation, IMI digital sound, IM2 digital photography and IM3 multimedia production.
